Even if you’ve never exercised your right to vote, if you’re of age and able to drive, walk, or crawl to your voting station, tomorrow is the day to do so. This has been a transformational year (mostly for the negative) for Online Poker players and tomorrow is one of the few opportunities to let your voice be heard. Never before has the threat to ban Online Poker been more grave, it’s happening in Kentucky right now, much to the chagrin of the PPA and other organizations.

Mind you, we’re not just talking about the Presidential candidates here. There’s been enough talk of those two so let’s focus on your local candidates because these folks have a great deal of influence as well. If you’re not sure who to vote for at your local level, the people over the PPA have put together a website for the check on members of Congress and their voting history on bills related to online gambling. You can use the tool here before heading out to vote tomorrow -

You’ll see an interesting trend if you use this tool and that’s that many of the voting trends in support of or against online gambling cross party lines. So forget “carrying the party line” and do some research, vote your conscience and you may find yourself feeling a little better. After all, the future of Online Poker depends on it!
