A look at Party Poker POKERFEST schedule

On October 23, 2011 Party Poker will launch its own online poker tournament series a la the PokerStars WCOOP. The series, known as POKERFEST, will run from the 23^rd of October to November 6^th, 2011, and will feature a total of 47 tournaments ranging in buy-ins from Party Point freerolls all the way up to a $1,060 NLHE tournament with a $300,000 guaranteed prize-pool, as well as the POKERFEST’S Main Event tournament with a $1 million guarantee.

The Main Event of the 2011 POKERFEST is scheduled to be a $640 NLHE tournament with a $1 million guarantees prize-pool, and will take place on Sunday October 6^th, closing out the POKERFEST series. Overall, Party Poker is guaranteeing a total of $3 million over the 47 tournaments, a number that is likely to easily be eclipsed. There will be three tournaments held each day: One with a buy-in of Party Points: One with a buy-in between $6 and $33: And one with a buy-in of at least $50.

In addition to the 47 tournaments, POKERFEST will feature three separate leader-boards with prizes for the top performers, as well as Jackpots, $1 buy-in Side Events, and Prize Draw raffles. Here is a look at these special promotions running during POKERFEST:

Party Points Leader-Board

• $5,000 prize pool
• Places paid = 250
• Winners prize = $500

Low buy-in ($6-$33)

• $30,000 prize pool
• Places paid = 500
• Winners prize = $2,500

High buy-in ($55 and above):

• $65,000 prize pool
• Places paid = 500
• Winners prize = $5,000

$35,000 Pokerfest Jackpots

• Win any three Pokerfest tournaments = $20,000
• Final table in any 10 Pokerfest tournaments = $10,000
• Win cash in any 10 Pokerfest tournaments = $5,000

Daily Dollar side events

From the 23rd October we’ll be running two $1 buy-in tournaments every day at 13:45 ET and 16:00 ET but be warned - every tournament has a twist! Make sure you check the lobby each day for full details.

Prize Draw

For each of the 47 Pokerfest events you play in, you’ll get a ticket for our Pokerfest prize draw. The first 500 players drawn will win a prize including iPad’s, chip sets and other merchandise from our Points Store
