The $5k NLHE tournament was scheduled to end on Day 3 but thanks to the Hard-Stop rule four players will reconvene tomorrow at the Rio to finish the event. Allen Bari has a massive chip lead over the three remaining players, who are seemingly playing for second place at this point:

3. Maria Ho - 1,200,000

Event #7: $10,000 Pot Limit Holdem Championship, Day 2
Reaching the money bubble at the end of Day 2 was the $10k Pot Limit Holdem Championship, and the unfortunate bubble-boy was Daniel Negreanu who was looking for his first WSOP cash of 2011. However, considering the slew of top pros who entered the event there are still plenty of big names to follow. Here is a look at the top 10 chip counts going into Day 3 of the event:
1. Stephen Chidwick — 697,000

Event 8: $1,000 No Limit Holdem, Day 1a
Another excellent turnout in the wake of Black Friday came in the $1k NLHE tournament where 2,116 players registered on Day 1a. This was really the last test in terms of different buy-ins and formats at the WSOP, and it appears that all is well in the live poker world despite the US crackdown.

275 turned into 73 on Day 1 of the 2-7 Lowball tournament on Saturday, with former PokerStars Supernova Elite record-holder George Lind III out on front at the end of the day. One player to keep an eye on is five-time 2-7 bracelet winner Billy Baxter who survived Day 1 -no surprise there!
