Full Tilt Poker launches Challenge durrrr Promotion

Full Tilt Poker has just announced their latest promotion Challenge durrrr. The Challenge will test a player in the three disciplines of online poker: Cash Games, Tournaments, and Sit & Go Tournaments. At the end of the contest the player with the best total will get the chance to take on the online poker legend, and Team Full Tilt Poker pro in a 1-on-1 challenge match for $1.5 million!

Here is a look at the basics of the promotion from the Full Tilt Poker website:

Earn the right to Challenge durrrr heads up for $1.5 million starting Saturday, February 26th. Before you can take on durrrr, you’ll need to win your way through a series of consecutive challenges across a variety of poker disciplines:

• Challenge 1 - Ring Games: Fight your way to the top of a Challenge durrrr Leaderboard to punch your ticket to the next challenge, plus earn a Full Tilt Points multiplier if you post a high enough chips score on a Leaderboard
• Challenge 2 - Tournaments: Conquer your fellow challengers in three simultaneous Freeroll Tournaments to win your cut of prize money and move on to the next challenge
• Challenge 3 - The Matrix: Nine players, four Sit & Gos, one goal - earn the top Matrix score and advance to the final challenge
• Challenge durrrr - Heads Up: Take on this online legend at his own game to win up to $1.5 million!

Challenge #1

During Challenge #1, players will have the opportunity to earn up to 4x as many Full Tilt Poker Points as usual, depending on the stakes they are playing. A player must earn 500 Leaderboard Chips each day to earn the multiplier -Leaderboard Chips are awarded based on the following formula: Pots Won (post-flop) x # of players dealt into the hand = # of Leaderboard Chips awarded.

• Low Stakes - $0.01/$0.02 to $0.10/$0.20 = x2 multiplier
• Medium Stakes - $0.10/$0.25 to $0.50/$1.00 = x3 multiplier
• High Stakes - $1.00/$2.00 and beyond = x4 multiplier

Players who earn a top spot in each category, the top 1,000 on the low leaderboard; 750 on the medium leaderboard; and 500 in the high leaderboard, will advance to the next Challenge, Tournaments!

Challenge #2

Each player making it to the second challenge will receive an entry into three freeroll tournaments that will be played simultaneously. Low Leaderboard Freerolls feature a total of $15K in prize money, Medium Leaderboard Freerolls feature $30K and High Leaderboard Freerolls feature $45K. Winning one of these 9 freerolls sends you on to the last leg of the promotion: The Matrix.

Challenge #3

The final leg of the promotion will pit you against the other eight freeroll winners in a Matrix challenge. The Matrix will see the nine Freeroll winners battle across four simultaneous Sit & Go tournaments with $25,000 in prize money! The player with the best overall Matrix score will move on to face durrrr in a heads-up Challenge Match with $1.5 million on the line!

To win $1.5 million you’ll have to best durrrr in four Sit & Go tournaments -played simultaneously:

• Defeat durrrr in one match to win $10K
• Win two matches for a cool $25K
• Take down three matches for a total of $100K
• Beat durrrr in all four matches to win the $1.5 million grand prize!
