It was another busy at the 2012 World Series of Poker with one of online poker’s greatest players winning his first WSOP bracelet, and two poker legends looking to add to their already impressive resumes of 11 and 8 bracelets respectively. Here is a look at all of the action from Thursday at the 2012 WSOP.
Brian Hastings wins $10k Heads-Up tournament
Online legend Brian Hastings picked up his first major tournament victory yesterday after winning the $10k Heads-Up tournament at the 2012 WSOP. Hastings path to the bracelet included wins over Jim Rumptz, Emil “whitelime” Patel, recent WPT winner Tommy Vedes, Amritraj Singh, Jeffrey Gross, Tommy Chen in the Final Four, and Jason Mo in the finals. Hastings picked up $378,498 for the win, along with the coveted WSOP bracelet.
Arsht gives the senior’s their second WSOP bracelet of 2012
For the second time this week the old-timers are proving that poker isn’t simply a young man’s game. Earlier this week 71 year-old Herbert Tapscott took down the Omaha 8 tournament and yesterday 66 year-old David Arsht picked-up his first WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 Limit Holdem tourney.
The tournament also saw yet another woman make a WSOP final table in 2012, bringing the tally up to nine in the first 13 events. Here is a look at the final table payouts from the event:

Hellmuth and Ivey going strong in the $5k Stud 8 tourney
Phil Hellmuth is in search of his 12th WSOP and Phil Ivey is looking to add bracelet #9 to his resume. Both men have above average chip-counts entering the final day of the $5k Stud 8 event with just 19 players left in contention. Here is a look at the chip-leaders heading into Day 3:
