Jamie Gold Signs with ACED Poker

2006 World Series of Poker Main Event champion, Jamie Gold has signed with ACED Poker which has its home on the Merge Gaming Network. Official announcement is expected to come on Thursday. Gold is best known for beating out Paul Wasicka in the largest World Series of Poker tournament ever held with a field of 8,773 players and earning $12 million in the process.
“We are extremely excited to have Jamie on board, not only because of his obvious value as an ambassador for us within the poker world, but also for the unparalleled enthusiasm, insight, and creativity he brings to the ongoing development of our brand.” said Brandon Berndt, Poker Room Manager at ACED. Gold a former Hollywood talent agent had a star studded roster of clients which included James Gandolfini, Jimmy Fallon, Donnie Wahlberg, Kristin Davis, Felicity Huffman and radio host Rodger Lodge.
His duties for representing ACED Poker, Gold will play on the site, representing the brand at major live poker tournaments, as well as “pushing forward with philanthropic pursuit on behalf of himself and ACED, and working alongside our team to make sure each and every ACED player has the best possible experience.” Gold is also bringing with him to the Merge Gaming Network his experience as an established high limit player which they are hopeful will bring additional players and build out that area of their brand.
Gold has appeared on a host of poker television shows which includes NBC’s “Poker After Dark” and GSN’s “High Stakes Poker” and is one of the top poker personalities in the industry today.
