LA Poker Classic Update Part II

The second week of preliminary events of the LA Poker Classic held at Commerce Casino featured a $300 no limit hold’em rebuy event. The tourney brought in an impressive 623 entrants who between them purchased 933 rebuys and 356 add ons. The largest first prize of the week came from this event at $140,467 and was awarded to Jake Solis. Other pros who made it to the money at the final table were Michael Kamran (second place), Joe Pelton (third place) and Kevin Song (seventh place). This was the second final table for song this week who managed a fourth place finish in event #8 ($300 limit hold’em). Chris Bjorin made his second final table appearance of the tourney series after placing in sixth in event #6 ($300 Omaha eight or better) last week.
