Phil Hellmuth relaunches his PhilHellmuth.com website
One of the most famous poker players in the history of the game has been without a sponsorship deal for some time now, and it appears that Phil Hellmuth, AKA The Poker Brat, may continue to forego a formal sponsorship deal, considering he has just revamped and relaunched his personal website, www.PhilHellmuth.com.
The new site was announced on May 22, and looks to feature plenty of blog entries, as well as videos of the Poker Brat. Sub-pages on the site include Poker, Sports, Lifestyle, and Philanthropy, as well as a forum and a sidebar that includes everything from a Twitter feed to Hellmuth’s current charitable contributions shown on a graph with a goal of $100 million.
Of course what Phil Hellmuth could be complete without a link to his PokerBrat.com website, where the 11-time WSOP bracelet winner hocks everything from clothing to ebooks and DVDs. Or if you are so inclined you can book Phil for motivational speeches –Idiots from Northern Europe need not apply!
The new website also features a link to Hellmuth’s “Hand of the Week” Blog where Phil will discuss a particular hand that has piqued his interest. Hellmuth has been utilizing this “Hand of the Week” format for many years, and these articles have been featured at a number of print and online poker sites, including at Cardplayer Magazine.
According to the blog entry marking the relaunch, the website will not focus solely on Phil, but is a place for sharing. Don’t believe me? Well just check out the welcome statement Phil posted:
Welcome everybody to my new site!! I wanted to take a minute to say hello and tell you a bit about it. One of my favorite parts of the site is that it’s not just a look into the world of yours truly, but also a place where you can share great stuff with fellow fans and me. It’s your one-stop for the latest on poker, my life, and everything in between. Be sure to sign up for a free account and start checking the site out today.
All kidding aside, Phil’s new website is sleek, seems to have plenty of room for future content (having just relaunched the site’s cupboards are still a little bare when it comes to content), and seems to offer a number of different looks into the life of Phil Hellmuth.
Currently the site features a number of archived articles about poker, and some newer content on where Phil has been recently and some of the sports-betting he has been doing. You can check out Phil’s new website at www.PhilHellmuth.com
