‘Poker Brat’ Phil Hellmuth Launches Clothing Line

Phil Hellmuth, Ultimate Bet poker pro and better known in the poker world as the ‘Poker Brat’, announced today that he has launched his own clothing line, Poker Brat Clothing Co.  The brand is already available for sale.

“I love the people who designed these shirts,” Hellmuth said. “We’ve worked with artists in Las Vegas, Missouri, and West Hollywood, and I told them to create whatever their hearts desired and, man, did they create some great poker designs!”

The line includes his well known Phil Hellmuth hat but unique poker t-shirts with a similar flair as Affliction and Ed Hardy.  With designs like “Poker Tree”, a take on poker seedlings growing into a large oak tree and “Poker Face” a starburst card symbol which is available in many colors.  There is even a little something for Phil’s favorite segment of poker players, the ladies, in the form of a pink Phil Hellmuth hat and babydoll style shirts.  Also among the offerings are t-shirts with the Poker Brat Clothing Company logo.

Phil is an UltimateBet pro and is one of poker’s most notorious players.  He is best known for holding a record eleven World Series of Poker bracelets and at age 24. for winning the Main Event of the 1989 World Series of Poker against Johnny Chan which made him the youngest player to ever win the World Series of Poker Main Event until just this year when the record was broken by 22 year old Peter Eastgate.  Phil regularly plays in live tournaments and as of 2008, his total live tournament winnings are well over $10,600,000 and is ranked 4th in the all time money list.

Hellmuth has several instructional poker videos as well as writing many articles for magazines and authoring several poker books including Play Poker Like the Pros, Bad Beats and Lucky Draws, The Greatest Poker Hands Ever Played and Poker Brat which is autobiographical.  Poker Brat Clothing Co looks to be another foray in the long line of successful poker related ventures in Phil Hellmuth’s arsenal.
