Annie Duke, a poker news daily columnist, was in chopping block nearly escaped Donald Trump’s “FIRED” during the fourth episode of NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice.
The task was to launch the new videophone from CAN and Team Athena (Women) where Duke belongs, they chose Claudia Jordan to be the project manager. Jordan was one of the models in deal or No Deal.
But the events turned out in chaos during the rehearsal. Jordan couldn’t her teammates. The poker daily columnist even commented.
“That rehearsal was a nightmare. Claudia had to take control because that was going nowhere and it was never going to go anywhere until someone stepped up and got the chaos under control.”
Duke suggested wished that the presentation should be simpler than what was being planned. Team Athena was sent boardroom outplayed by the Team Kotu (Men) with a margin of 386-61.
When asked by Donald Trump why they lose, Duke responded solidly:
“This morning, I was 100% sure that we were going to lose. When I saw how great Joan was, I became much less sure and I thought we were going to win.”
Trumph seemed to like the genuinely answers of Duke while in the board room. She fairly came up her board and decided to use her instincts to reason out, just like in the poker game.
In the end, the whole blame was put into Claudia Jordan. Duke was safe, leaving marks of appreciation from Donald Trump.
