Poker Stars SCOOP Series to Feature $25K Buy in Event

Poker Stars has announced its schedule for its first ever Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) and players can get in on the action for as little as $5 or as much as $25,000.  Its lineup includes 22 events at three different levels of buy ins so all players can afford to play in the championship series no matter the size of their bankroll.

The 2009 Spring Championship of Online Poker will get under way with a no limit hold’em rebuy event on April 2 at 2:30 pm EST for $5.50, $55 and $530 and will wrap it up with a two day main event that will be played out on April 12-13 at 4:30 pm EST for $109, $1,050 and $10,300.  The series features many noteworthy tournaments including a no limit hold’em heads up tourney for with a healthy buy in of $25,500 for the highest level of play on April 12.  Though that buy in might be a bit too much for most players, some smaller stakes players will get still get the chance to play in a two day tournament for as little as $33 on April 5.

The series also offers a broad range of games including hold’em, Omaha, Omaha eight or better, five card draw, HORSE, triple draw deuce to seven, mixed hold’em, seven card stud, seven card stud eight or better, razz and eight game mixed.  There will be four rebuy events including second chance events and one buy/one add on events.
