Sky Poker celebrates its 5th Birthday with promotions and giveaways

Sky Poker kicked off its 5^th Birthday Celebration on February 6, 2012, the five year anniversary of the popular online poker rooms launch date. During the celebration Sky Poker will be running a number of promotions, offering players the chance to participate in exclusive freerolls and win cash and prizes with everything from iPads to live tournament entries up for grabs.

GBP 5,000 Jackpot Boost

Sky Poker will add GBP 5,000 to the Jackpot this week, which is in addition to the promotion that runs each day. The Jackpot prize is for anyone who wins the Sky Poker Main Event at 8pm and the Mini Main Event at 8:15pm on the same night. With every week that goes by without a Jackpot winner, Sky Poker is adding GBP 100 to the Jackpot pool.

iPad Giveaways

On top of this, each of the main poker event winners this week, of which there will be five, will receive an iPad. Another iPad will be given away every day in a prize draw format; in order to qualify players must earn 55 poker points that day.

Five Happy Hours each day

To help acquire the Poker Points necessary to take part in the other great giveaways, the online Poker Room is running a Happy Hour Points Boost at 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 6pm, 11pm every day of the week. Points earned within the Happy Hour receive a 50% bonus. The stakes up are upped at 5:55pm; for five minutes, any points earned are multiplied by five.

GBP 1,000 Freerolls

Players can enter the GBP 1000 Freerolls Monday through Saturday. The Freerolls start at 5:55:55pm each day. The second Freeroll will take place on Saturday 11th of February, and costs 55 Sky Poker Points to enter.

Channel 865 Giveaways

There are also a number of prizes to give away on Sky Poker’s television channel, including seats to the Sky Poker Tour in Glasgow and Brighton on 10th March.
