WSOP Council Bluffs Circuit Event Kicks Off Tomorrow

The World Series of Poker Circuit is headed to its next scheduled stop which begins tomorrow at the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The tournament series will get under way with a $300 no limit hold’em event and will wrap up with the $5,000 no limit hold’em Circuit championship which will earn the winner thousands of dollars and a coveted seat in the 2009 World Series of Poker main event.
There will be a wide assortment of games available to all players from limit and no limit hold’em, six handed no limit hold’em, Omaha eight or better, pot limit Omaha to HORSE. This circuit stop is also featuring a no limit hold’em ladies championship event on Sunday, February 15. The Horseshoe is running mega satellites daily leading up to the main event and are held at 3 pm ($330 buy in) and 7 pm ($550 buy in) each weekday. In addition to the daily satellites, there will be a $550 mega satellite at noon on Sunday, February 22 the day before the Circuit championship begins. Single table satellites for all preliminary events are running daily as well during the tournament series from 9 am until 3 am. All preliminary events are scheduled to begin at noon unless the event is the second preliminary scheduled on that day, in which case it would get under way at 4 pm.

Friday, Feb. 13: Event No. 2 — $500 no-limit hold’em
Saturday, Feb. 14: Event No. 3 — $300 no-limit hold’em
Sunday, Feb. 15: Event No. 4 — $500 no-limit hold’em
Sunday, Feb. 15: Event No. 5 — $200 ladies championship
Monday, Feb. 16: Event No. 6 — $1,000 no-limit hold’em
Monday, Feb. 16: Event No. 7 — $300 Omaha eight-or-better
Tuesday, Feb. 17: Event No. 8 — $1,500 no-limit hold’em
Tuesday, Feb. 17: Event No. 9 — $300 H.O.R.S.E.
Wednesday, Feb. 18: Event No. 10 — $300 no-limit hold’em
Wednesday, Feb. 18: Event No. 11 — $300 limit hold’em
Thursday, Feb. 19: Event No. 12 — $500 no-limit hold’em
Thursday, Feb. 19: Event No. 13 — $300 six-handed no-limit hold’em
Friday, Feb. 20: Event No. 14 — $300 no-limit hold’em
Saturday, Feb. 21: Event No. 15 — $500 no-limit hold’em
