Its day 7 of the 2008 WSOP (world series of poker) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in las vegas which marks another step towards the final table for the November 9 live final table broadcast. Only 18 players remain fighting their way to the millions that awaits the next WSOP multimillionaire. With a total Prize pool: $64,333,600 each player has at least secured prize money of $257,334. 6,844 participants entered the No Limit event now with only 18 players remaining the field is narrowed and the seats are re-drawn and table position shifted.
You know that the stakes have been raised, the stress level in on ten and each player doesn’t want to be the next eliminated. Each player has now played over 55 tournament hours not including breaks. The pressure is on who will be the November 9 final table players.
With Notable mention Tiffany Michelle is the last women standing and holding on strong with just over 5 million in chips. The Only women to make a main event final table was Barbara Enright in 1995 and the Famous Anne Duke almost made the final table just busting out at 10th place in the 2000 WSOP. What a final table it would make if Tiffany was to become the second woman in history to make the WSOP final table. Instant fame and a shot at making world history.
