The software at Play Aces Poker (Sportsbook Poker) is a little funny but based on the cake poker network, so its super functional which is most important. The in-game play in particular is rather odd. The room and the avatars look more like photographs than drawings. The chips and cards, however, look like cartoons by comparison. It has a very Who-Framed-Roger-Rabbit feel. Even the panel you use to scale your bets is a little cartoony.

One feature I do like about the in-game screen is that it’s easy to shrink the tables and you can tile them with the touch of a button. It makes multi-tabling a lot easier.

The main lobby screen is better. There’s a button for every game and you can sort by Limit, No Limit, and Pot Limit games. Play Aces Poker (Sportsbook Poker) also offers you all the vital statistics you need to pick a profitable table. The percentage of players going to the flop, in particular, is a useful statistic.

Traffic and Game Variety

The tournaments at Sportsbook Poker rarely have more than 300 players in them and that can mean big profits in the guaranteed tournaments. For example, one of the $100,000 Guaranteed tournaments had 351 players. The total prize pool based on buy-in was $52,650, but the tournament was guaranteed to pay out $100,000.
